| Job Notes: Setup traffic control on Smithville Road for uprate. Squeezed off existing 8” low pressure main at 2345 Smithville Road and cut out section of main. Fused on 8” dead end cap on live side and removed squeeze off. Fused 8” to 2” reducers on the side to be tested. Put 8” main and services on test. Removed test once approved. Squeezed off 8” medium pressure main at 2325 Smithville Rd and tied tested main into medium pressure main. Removed squeeze off and purged gas main to 100% gas. Had plumber install orifices into customer regulators and relight effected customers. Saw cut and removed hard surfaces for uprate bell holes on Smithville and on Highridge Ave. Dug out what we could with excavator, had vac truck finish excavating the holes due to electric conduit and concrete over top and next to the gas mains. |
