| Job Notes: Setup traffic control on Smithville Road and Nordale Ave. Squeezed off 8” low pressure plastic main on Smithville Road. Cut out section of pipe and fused on 8” dead end cap on live side and removed squeeze off. Fused on 8” elbow and reduced down to 4” pipe. Blew 4” pigs through new 4” main on Nordale Ave and fused 4” pipe on Nordale to 4” pipe on Smithville Ave for uprate. Sand padded the pipe and backfilled the bell hole on Smithville with cdf flow fill. Installed steel plates over cdf for the weekend. Went and setup traffic control on Smithville Road in front of the existing reg station. Used vac truck to dig up and expose 3” high pressure steel main and valve. Got 3” ready for the welder. |
