| Job Notes: Found existing 4” main at Linden Ave 20’ off the marks back to the north, exposed existing main for tie in hole. Dug out ditch line and removed 15’ of new 4” main due to existing main not being in the correct spot as prints say. Fused in set of 4” elbows to get from sidewalk over to existing main. Blew pigs through new main. Installed purge cap and plated bell hole at Linden and Davis. Dug up new main and existing 4” main on Linden and 4th. Fused new main to 6” steel tee and transition on 16” steel main. Fused in 4” inline tee on new 4” main and fused in 4” pipe and elbows to get over to existing 4” main for tie in at Linden Ave and 4th St. Partially backfilled bell hole to get steel plates to cover the hole. |
