| Job Notes: 631 E. Temple st. Overnight class A leak, had a business on corner w 3 meters inside that needed to be moved out and a leaking curb valve. Dug up at curb valve and was an old compression w orange plastic 1” going to 1 1/4 then steel before building, squeezed off behind valve and cut out service, replaced service to the side of the building. Moved all 3 meters outside w a 3 meter manifold, new curb valve, and 3 new meters. Tested everything to house,set all meters and went to relight,could only relight apartment B,and C, A was leaking inside of wall somewhere from basement to upstairs unit, red tagged and locked meter off. Costume shop, or unit C was the main unit, and had the furnace that worked all units,so everyone had heat, just A didn’t have hot water, or stove relight. Unit B had a hot water and stove and C just had hot water and furnace. Customer was happy enough w everything after I told her she needed to contact a plumber that was licensed and certified w centerpoint. Service was 18’’,backfilled everything made sure there was nothing else producing smell or leaking inside anymore. |
