Job Notes: Dug up 2” steel main in roadway found 1 1/4 steel service line. Used no blow tool to stop gas flow to kill old service line with a weld on cap. Cut side walk panel an pulled curb valve out. Welded on new punch tee and inserted 72ft of new 1” HDPE service line up to 250 meter set. Backfilled with sand/ gravel and cold patch in road way. Crew did have to make separate hole in road when inserting because of a welded offset preventing insert.
