| Job Notes: 37 W. Locust St. Started on 6/28, Donley come out and saw cut for my trench asphalt was 10” w brick at the bottom, opened up 40’ of it at 42”, plated everything had 5 plates, went back to WCH and got the plates from there, where we open cut for that service. Started open cutting to finish up trench, had 12” of concrete that was under asphalt it was 8’ wide and 6’ long, had to bust all that out w jackhammer, and then was able to continue on digging. Had 10 ton of sand, and padded pipe in trench poured 10 yrds of flowfill and stopped due to not being able to get pipe in and connected due to busting out all the concrete. Left site at 650pm 37 W. Locust st. Blew pig, welded on 2x2 HV tee, tested everything, tapped one HV tee and welded a 2x1 tee on new 2” to purge out of,purged before I tapped other end, and tapped out other HV tee, to make hot, squeezed both ends and monitored both sides to not lose anyone. Welded dead ends on both sides and padded pipe and poured flowfill for the whole ditch on both sides. Rector said that Miller would b there Wednesday or Thursday for hot patch. |
