Tapped 4” short stop, stoppled 4” short stop, squeezed 4” plastic, welded punch tee for purge, removed gate valve and plate to see why plug wouldn’t set, lip on inside seemed to be worn from manufacture. Was able to set plug by hand in place per standards. Removed stopple, purged, wrapped, padded and backfilled. |
