| Job Notes: 24 Elm Hill/ spotted C/V for a road crossing bore when we exposed the valve bubbles were coming from the north bank from main, called Mosher and he said to fix it. Dug up 4” steel main found two holes leaking one the size of a nickel and the other a pen hole. Went and got 2 leak bands, one 6”, and a 12”, when found the leak it had been fixed temporarily with perma-gum and some tar coating, chipped and cleaned main and put a 12” leak band over the two holes and backfilled everything, had 3.5 hours of T&M for whole leak on 24 Elm-Hill. |
