| Job Notes: Setup traffic control and flaggers on W. 2nd St and June Dr. Saw cut and hammered out asphalt in the road. Dug up existing 4” steel medium pressure main for medium pressure main retirement. Dug up existing 3” medium pressure steel main at 878 W. 2nd St. Helped welder install 3” short stop and two 2” short stops on 3” steel main. Tested fittings and tapped out. Setup equipment to stopple off 3” and 4” steel mains. Stoppled off mains, cut out sections of steel main and welded on steel dead end caps on live sides. Removed all stopple equipment and plate off holes for the night. Removed traffic control and flaggers. |
